Back to Back Mackinacs
Doyle Sails powered John Barbour‘s Velero VII to 2nd in the NA40 division of the 84th Bayview Yacht Club Port Huron to Mackinac Race and to win the Chicago-Mackinac Trophy Division in the 100th running of the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac.
Doyle customers won 11 classes in the Bayview to Mackinac Race: C&C 35 (Regardless), Cruising B (Solutions), Cruising C (Momentum), Cruising D (Days End), IRC C (Sagitta), IRC D (Blitz), IRC F (Eliminator), IRC G (Rebel), J/105 (Junto), J/120 (Flyin’ Irish), NA 40 (Montombi).
In the Chicago Mackinac Race, Doyle customers won the following classes: Beneteau 36.7 (Karma), J/109 (Zeitgeist), J/120 (Carinthia), Section 4 (Power Tripp) and Section 7 (Velero VII). This is the 4th time in 5 years that Karma has won the 36.7 class of the Chicago Mackinac Race. And, the 2nd time in as many years that Zeitgeist won the J/109 class.

2008 Marblehead NOOD
Over 180 boats competed at the 11th annual Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regatta in Marblehead held July 24-27, 2008. Congratulations to Doyle customers who won the following classes: Etchells (Riva), IOD (Gypsy), J/105 (Steelaway), Town Class (Patience), Sonar (Bill Lynn), Alerion Express 28 (Tumbler), and Rhodes 19 (Sheerboom).

Damian Emery is on Fire
Damian Emery’s Eclipse continues to dominate in the J/105 fleet, posting wins in his last 6 regattas. Eclipse, powered by a Doyle Tri-Radial Main and Doyle Jib, won the J/105 class at St Petersburg NOOD, American Spring Series, Cedar Point One Design Regatta, Larchmont Race Week, Block Island Race Week, and NYYC Race Week. George Ryan on the Eclipse team, adds “I do know that we feel we consistently sail higher and faster than the other 105’s. We love the Doyle main and jib.”

Doyle Sailmakers is pleased to announce the addition of Jean-Paul Gateff to the Doyle Sailmakers Team. Gateff has been operating as Voiles Gateff in the south of France, near Toulon, since 1970. “Jean-Paul is well recognized for his top quality sailmaking and service.
