The 2009 Ultimate 20 North American Championship was hosted by the Nepean Sailing Club and sailed on Lac Deschenes. 8 races were sailed with 1 throwout. Tac Boston sailing Honour with crew Scott McNeill and Doug Nickel won the Ultimate 20 North Americans in Ottawa, continuing the Boston family’s winning streak. Tac’s younger brother, Brad, had won the title 5 consecutive times previously. While the Boston family has won the North Americans for the past 6 years, Doyle Boston sails powered the top 6 boats at this year’s North Americans.
