The One Design Weekend Regatta hosted by San Diego Yacht Club was held January 6-7, 2010. This event was a lead up to the Etchells North Americans to be held in June. For the 26 boat fleet, four races were held in fresh 12-18 knot conditions on Sunday, after losing Saturday to stormy weather. Doyle mains and jibs were used exclusively by Dave Ullman (1st), Bruce Golison (2nd), Will Stout (4th), Tom Hughes (9th) and Kjeld Hestehave (14th). Most of the competitors used their oldie but goodie 2007 and 2008 sails to preserve their class sail allocation. Some sails were as old as 2004!
