Richardson Wins International 210 Nationals

Ben Richardson wins 2010 210 NationalsThe International 210 Association National Championship Regatta took place August 1 through August 5, 2010 at the Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
After 6 races two Doyle powered boats skippered by Ben Richardson and Wiley Wakeman were tied with 9 points, and after 9 races they were tied with 19 points. It came down to the 10th race, with Ben Richardson, Butch Roth and Scott Shepard winning the race to win the National Championship with a total of 20 points. Wiley Wakeman finished 2nd with 26 points.

Richardson commented on the regatta, “Thanks to Doyle Sailmakers for making awesome sails for us. We tore the spinnaker in half the first day and Jud fixed it in the morning…. Our sails were fast and that repair was first rate.” To learn more about Doyle 210 sails, click here.
