MAINS
Doyle Etchells AP-2 Main feature all Epoxy RBS battens with rocket pocket adjustors top to bottom. The AP-2 main is designed for the newer stiffer mast. The top batten flies more open and as a result can be sheeted harder. It is easy to depower with mast bend and powers up when the backstay is eased without shutting down the top batten.
We now offer five jibs:
All jibs have adjustable spectra leech and foot lines as well as all radial corner reinforcing. Each jib features optional stiffer batten and velcro pocket ends for quick changes.
JIBS
While we offer many jib options, it is important to pair the jibs for the venue you will sail most often.
The NLM-7 (New Light Medium) is the newest crosscut design for inboard sheeting for 4-15 knots. It is a more draft aft design and features dual luff tabs for point and power in light air. It is available in minimum weight 270 HTP or 280 HTP.VMG Radial - The VMG Radial spinnaker is our most popular AP Kite made from 34 gram Superlite 50 and optimized for 4 to 14 knots. The sail dimensions are all max with the exception of a near minimum head girth spinnaker that is flatter in the head to be lightly loaded for downwind sailing. The sail is designed for best VMG while sailing gybing angles downwind and lighter running conditions.
VMG Cross Cut - The cross cut VMG has been our most popular kite for light air.
AP Radial Runner - We recommend the new AP Radial Runner for fresher square running conditions in 12-30 knots.
