Few modern campaigns have matched the sustained excellence of Tschüss 2. The team delivered an extraordinary run of victories in 2025: overall champions of the RORC Transatlantic Race, the RORC Caribbean 600, and the West-to-East Transatlantic Race, capped by IRC Super Zero honours in the Rolex Fastnet Race.
Winning both the Somerset Memorial Trophy for RORC Yacht of the Year and the Europeans Cup for IRC Zero, Christian Zugel’s Volvo 70 Tschüss 2 has set a new benchmark for offshore dominance.

Christian has also been recognised at the New York Yacht Club as yachtsman of the year winning the highly coveted Mosbacher Trophy along with the Columbus Atlantic Trophy, for the fastest non stop two way crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.
