5 Days of Sailing, 7 Days of Fun; proving to be a winning formula in Northern Queensland.
Magnetic Island Race Week once again delivered its signature mix of competitive racing and laid-back tropical fun, drawing sailors from across Australia for five days of thrilling on-water action and seven days of island festivities. Held annually in late August to early September, the regatta has grown into one of the most anticipated events on the sailing calendar and from the pictures 2025 was no exception. Among the many standout performances this year, Doyle-powered teams stole the spotlight, claiming top honours across key divisions.


Spinnaker Division 1 saw an impressive performance from Daguet 2, co-skippered by Peter Byford and Rob Aldis. The dynamic duo steered the sleek Myliuis 50 to first place, showcasing consistency and speed throughout the regatta. Doyle Sails powering their campaign, Daguet 2 proved unstoppable across a range of conditions. Shane from Doyle Sails Syndey has worked with the team for a number of seasons since the pair brought the boat to Austrlia from Europe in 2024.
Meanwhile, in Spinnaker Division 2, Popeye, owned and skippered by Craig Douglas, secured the top spot. The team showcasing a full quiver of Doyle Sails onbaord.
