The 2025 TP52 Australia series concluded in spectacular fashion over the weekend with the final act of the Pallas Capital Gold Cup, hosted by the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) on Pittwater. Fierce short course racing and exceptional depth throughout the fleet provided a fitting end to the season for Doyle-powered campaigns.
David Doherty’s Matador, powered by Doyle Sails, secured back-to-back overall victories, clinching the TPR and IRC titles for the 2025 season. Their consistent, high-performance sailing across all four acts saw them rise above the fleet to take the coveted series double. Adding to last seasons success.
Seb Bohm’s Smuggler, a loyal Doyle Sails customer, was a standout performer throughout the season, capping off their campaign with a commanding TPR win in Act 4. Their consistency and continual development earned them second place overall, reinforcing their status as a force in the TP52 fleet.
Completing the Doyle-powered podium was Andy Kearnan’s team onboard Koa, who delivered a strong finish to take third on TPR in Act 4, earning recognition as the top Corinthian team of the series.
