Doyle Sails is proud to celebrate with another adventure with Southern Wind. The 2025 Winter Rendezvous, which took place in early March against the breathtaking backdrop of Verbier, Switzerland.

The weekend kicked off on Friday evening with an intimate gathering at a charming chalet owned by long-time Southern Wind owners. Legendary offshore sailor and high-latitude navigator Skip Novak captivated guests with tales of his extraordinary adventures—from skippering Drum and Fazisi in the Whitbread Round the World Race to leading expeditions through the Northwest Passage and Antarctica.
Saturday brought the excitement of a friendly skiing competition, embodying the same precision and skill found in high-performance sailing. Competitors completed two timed runs, with the winner determined by the smallest margin between the two. True to the spirit of competition, the event evolved into an exhilarating speed race, with the youngest competitor claiming victory.
