Doyle Sails is excited to announce that it has been selected as the sailmaker for the new MC75, a high performance multihull that offers spacious living and exceptional sailing performance at under 24 meters.
Doyle Sails Solent team, has collaborated closely with the owner, Giles Redpath, to choose sails that offer unmatched durability and ease of handling for cruising. The yacht, built by McConaghy Boats, a leader in the industry, is known for its efficiency, spaciousness, and stylish design, recently attracted attention at the Cannes Yacht Show.

For this yacht, the sails are custom-made in Doyle Sails STRATIS 1100, renowned for being lighter faster and stronger. Each STRATIS sail is fully custom-designed to meet the specific requirements of the yacht. The sails are crafted using a blend of Carbon and Technora fibers, which are oriented to evenly distribute loads, ensuring durability. The inclusion of carbon enhances sail shape retention and significantly reduces stretch, resulting in longer-lasting performance compared to other options.

The owner selected a Mainsail, J1, J3, and a Cableless Furling Staysail, all made from STRATIS 1100, as well s a 320 sqm A3 nylon sail. This combination ensures easy handling and reliable performance for both the owner and crew.
The McConaghy MC75 “Jack” is available to view with Ancasta outside the Real Club Nautic in Barcelona this weekend as part of the esteemed Superyacht Regatta.
