SAIL SELECTION
MAIN
The Main has been designed to fit the tapered mast with or without jumpers and the untapered mast. This design has great upwind performance using a maxed out upper roach and a flatter lower section. Introduced in 2012, the main features the more durable Contender RS-3.5 Polykote. This is the main Jim Taylor used in winning the 2014 Nationals.
JIB
The jib is full down low, so it performs well in a big chop and a medium to heavy breeze as well as in smooth water and light air. We have increased fullness forward down in lower tack and tell tale area, so luff breaks evenly.
SPINNAKER
The spinnaker is built from the finest One-Design coated nylons. The result is a fabric with fantastic recovery and durability, zero porosity and extremely low water absorption. Available in combinations of Red, White, Blue, Pink, Gold and Green only. Actual weight .75 oz - .78 oz.
