The stage is set for the highly anticipated 2025 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup — the official Maxi World Championships — hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS) in partnership with the International Maxi Association.
As the fleet of Grand Prix race yachts begins to arrive in Porto Cervo, Doyle Sails is proud to support a strong lineup of high-performance teams powered by our cutting-edge sail technology.

This regatta will bring together some of the world’s most advanced maxi yachts in one of the most picturesque and technically demanding venues in the Mediterranean. With a unique combination of flat water inshore racing and open-sea courses weaving through the La Maddalena Archipelago, Porto Cervo offers both ideal and often challenging conditions—a dream playground for big boat racing.
Among the standout teams powered by Doyle Sails will be Wendy Schmitt’s, Deep Blue, a high-performance Botin 85, returning to Porto Cervo with a full Doyle inventory. David Duff, Vice President of Doyle Sails and a key crew member aboard Deep Blue, shared:“Racing in Porto Cervo is always a highlight of our season. Doyle Sails continues to grow, and this season we’ve delivered over 80 sails across top-level programs.”
Bella Mente, a three-time world champion in the Maxi72 class, is back to defend her legacy. Owner and helmsman Hap Fauth has been working closely with Doyle Sails President Mike Sanderson and the team to showcase a full Doyle setup, with a sharp focus on precision and pace.
Doyle Sails’s expert Scott Zebny from Palma has worked with Scorpione Hormar, the latest Baltic 68 Café Racer, impressed at the 2025 Superyacht Cup Palma and now lines up in Porto Cervo alongside Open Season, another Doyle-powered competitor. It will be an exciting match-up of two cutting-edge superyachts pushing the limits.

Doyle Sails will be providing and comprehensive regatta support to our customers throughout the event, with a NTG Shared Service loft and sailmakers on-site in Porto Cervo to assist Doyle-powered teams with any last-minute adjustments and regatta repairs, helping teams stay focused on their performance, not logistics.
With a record number of entries expected across the Maxi72, Mini Maxi, Supermaxi, and Multihull classes, the 2025 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup is set to deliver tight racing and breathtaking action.
