DCX Laminate
A low-stretch cruising laminate developed for high durability, and just as importantly, easy to handle for furling.
Overview
If you are an ambitious cruising sailor looking for a low-stretch material, DCX cruising laminates are the straightforward answer, developed for high durability, and just as importantly, easy to handle for furling purposes.
The line is produced with a mesh embedded in two films, with a special taffeta on both ends. The mesh offers excellent warp stretch value and high tear strength, while the film-covering taffetas are coated with a unique UVM® finish that guards against UV radiation and reduces mildew growth.
The DCX line represents one of the latest sandwich laminate developments in the industry. We have upgraded the DC mother line with a 9° X-PLY®, so your sail benefits from significantly increased support for the diagonal forces it encounters.
