Leading the Doyle International team is America’s Cup and Volvo Ocean Race veteran Mike ‘Moose’ Sanderson, joined by Richard Bouzaid and David Duff who have equally impressive lists of accomplishments.
Doyle Sails is continuously strengthened by an ever-expanding list of world-class sailors and experts that believe in the technology, innovation and philosophy behind Doyle Sails. In 2021, Jordi Calafat is the latest powerhouse addition to the ever-expanding Doyle Sails Grand Prix sailing and design team. Jordi is synonymous with the America's Cup, Volvo Ocean Race, 52 Super Series, Club Swan and a significant number of one-design fleets globally.
Doyle Sails New Zealand is home to 8 time Volvo Ocean Race sailor Stu Bannatyne, who won the 2017/18 edition onboard the Dong Feng Race Team, Justin Ferris who has competed in four editions of the Volvo Ocean Race and is a regular on the Grand Prix race scene and Matt Bridge, a world-renowned Superyacht sailor. The design team also consists of TP52 Super Series veteran sailor Daniel Fong.
Doyle Sails Palma continues to grow with key acquisitions to their management team - Chris Sherlock and Luke Molloy joined the Doyle group in 2018 followed by world-class superyacht expert Scott Zebny in 2019 who also will co-ordinate our global Superyacht Sales team. All three men are highly regarded Superyacht experts with extensive knowledge in this marketplace.
Doyle Sails North America is home to sailing legend and Doyle Sails founder Robbie Doyle who works alongside Jud Smith, US Sailing's 2018 Rolex Yachtsman of the Year, their team is strengthened by Grand Prix sailor and tactician Tony Rey who joined Doyle Sails Salem and became the new face of Doyle Sails Newport.
Doyle Sails Italy has a reputation for quality project management in superyachts lead by Salvo d’Amico and Mario Giattino. This group of elite sailors is constantly competing at the highest level to ensure Doyle Sails stays at the forefront of sail development. Doyle Sails Solent is the base for yachting legends Brian Thompson, Peter Greenhalgh and Adrian Stead with recent additions in world class sailors Will Alloway, Chris Taylor and Nin O'Leary.
Six time Volvo Ocean Race sailor Chris Nicholson joined the movement in 2018 and now works closely with the Doyle Sails Sydney loft. This group of people are at the coal face of Superyacht and Grand Prix sailing every day and are experts in the Doyle Sails ground breaking technology.
With extensive on water testing and development by sailors at the front end of sailing means that our technology is constantly evolving. Having people within our design and production teams to take sailor feedback and turn it into real time improvements that cascade through every sail we build is paramount.
