DOYLE SAILS BECOMES A TECHNICAL PARTNER TO CLUBSWAN RACING

After many decades of leading a new era of ClubSwan racing, Doyle Sails is proud to officially become a Technical Partner to the Nautor Swan racing world. 

The fleets corral some of the most high-performance sailors to highlight the spirit of Swan, delivering top-level, friendly and fair racing to the crews and owners. 

When selecting global partnerships, Doyle Sails works with every organisation to ensure core values are aligned. For Doyle Sails and ClubSwan Racing, many of these values are synonymous with each other. Ultimately, both seek to deliver high-performance, high-quality, custom solutions alongside unforgettable experiences and adventures while striving to connect like-minded sailors. 

Doyle Sails Chief Operating Officer Emma Hendy is excited about the partnership, “Doyle Sails is looking forward to further supporting our owners and teams in the Club Swan fleets; we have seen exciting growth and development with current boats, and our experts Jordi Calafat and Daniel Fong have bought some new ideas to the table, which are proving successful. The partnership will see Doyle Sails strengthen the sailmaking, design and coaching support on the ground at each event for current Doyle-powered yachts while showcasing the world-renowned ‘by sailors, for sailors’ ethos to others. 

Doyle Sails Grand Prix designer Jordi Calafat, who has been instrumental in the development of sails throughout the class, and will this year support G Spot (CS36), Hatari (CS50) and Stella Maris (CS50). Calafat will provide valuable feedback to his team and share knowledge amongst the other Doyle Sails experts at the event, including professional sailor and designer Daniel Fong, who will be racing with ClubSwan 50 Ross Warburton on his CS50 Perhonen.

Fellow Doyle expert Luke Molloy, “Doyle Sails in Palma has been supporting Olymp sailing team and the Club Swan 50 since they started their race campaign. They are now into their third season in the class, and this year is looking to be their most promising yet with some crew and boat upgrades and, of course, some new Doyle sails. They have Doyle Sails full support, and we are excited to follow their progress”.

With one of the most compressed sailing calendars across all ClubSwan Racing fleets, the organisation is second to none – each event delivering, world-class sailing, functions and owner opportunities. The key role of CEO is held by Federico Michetti.
