With dedicated Superyacht lofts in Palma, Solent, Newport, Italy and Auckland – support is never far away.
By sailors, for sailors.

Our commitment
Engineered for a yacht that has no equal.
With Superyachts, the loads are enormous and the tolerance for error can be unforgiving. At Doyle Sails, nothing is guess work. We model your rig and your sail plan under the conditions you will see, then build sails to fit those requirements perfectly.
How we work
We are your experts in sailing, we are with you the whole way.
We join the project early, working with your naval architect and rig designer so the sail plan and the yacht are developed together rather than in sequence. This often results in more cohesion across the entire project.
Load paths, flying shapes and crossovers are 3D modelled, with every piece of material included for a specific purpose, the process ensures we understand the behaviour of every sail and how they work together across the inventory.
Once design is signed off, the sails are built to the exact specification designed and then commissioned on the water with our team aboard for trials and setup.
Annual inspections, repaired or re-cut through a network of more than fifty lofts, with five dedicated to Superyachts, so service and support is never far away.

Sail technology
The luff carries its own load rather than relying on a cable or heavy forestay tension. That takes load out of the rig and lets the sail project further to windward, so you get a wider usable range from one sail.

Sail technology
Downwind sails that fly without a torsion cable, dropping loads by up to fifty per cent. Less weight aloft, faster sets and drops, and far less work on deck for your crew.
