In 2020, Doyle Sails announced a significant partnership with Peter Burling and Blair Tuke’s ocean conservation charity Live Ocean and is proud to extend that partnership for another year as a major supporter.
The global sail-making business says there is an “obvious and very natural fit” between Doyle Sails and Live Ocean, with a shared commitment to excellence on the ocean. Live Ocean was founded by sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke in 2019. It funds, supports and amplifies the messages of ambitious New Zealand scientists and innovators and also connects people to the ambition for a healthy ocean.
The message of ocean protection and restoration is now taken to the world stage through the New Zealand SailGP Team, which has Live Ocean as its Race for the Future charity partner. In December 2020, Doyle Sails announced their partnership with the New Zealand SailGP Team and as the Official Sailmaker to SailGP.
